About the role
A cutting-edge technology provider that enables vehicles to become safer, more connected, efficient, and environmentally friendly. Their technologies are applied to gas, diesel, electric, and fuel cell powertrains. As hybrid and full battery vehicle adoption grows, our client is developing synergistic electrically-assisted boosting and energy generation technologies and going deeper into electrical integration, software controls, and advanced sensors.
You'll be part of the Electrification Centre of Excellence team responsible for developing a differentiated product portfolio of e-boosting solutions that enables the customers to set new benchmarks in vehicle efficiency.
Requirements
As an Application Software Engineer, you will be accountable for the Application Software modules Development, Software architectural Design, Software integration and testing for E-Machine Product.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Software requirements specification, and application software modules requirements specification.
- You will develop the application software modules either model-based design or manual C coding.
- You will perform/support the application software modules testing (Unit, MIL/SIL), perform software integration as per the software architecture, and support the software validation team and customers.
- You have the understanding of the industry trend and familiar with automotive software technologies.
- You will participate to achieve the software roadmaps and performance targets, and deploy the standardized development procedures and engineering practices for ensuring consistency and process adherence across all electrification programs.
The ideal candidate:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years automotive software development work experience in Multiple National Companies. You have a strong knowledge on software development in model-based design and manual C coding. A good knowledge on AUTOSAR based software architecture, software testing: MIL/SIL, software integration and release, and tools like Trace32, Vector/ETAS tools, Matlab/Simulink and AUTOSAR RTE
- Knowledge on software development processes.
- Knowledge in Automotive Safety Standard ISO 26262.
- Demonstrated bias for action/initiative, customer focus
- Proven problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret data, define actions, and implement solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
