The Role
We seek a standout candidate possessing both the engineering and business talents to provide strategic leadership to ensure successful planning, delivery, and growth of our client’s pioneering products. The role confers responsibility for pinpointing all opportunities to innovate and enhance performance and efficiency, in terms of product evolution and partner/customer relationships. This is an opportunity to perform a critical role in the realization of breathtaking potential for an incisive, driven, notable new player.

You will:

• Run electrical inverter/charger R&D, lifecycle management (from conceptualisation to production), trend-logging, and market research
• Execute smart analysis and evaluation, conduct design feasibility and DFMEA and FMEA conversations
• Maintain focus on crushing financial and strategic objectives for the enterprise
• Establish effective SOW and project plans with team and partner buy-in
• Serve as product expert for key customers interactions/negotiations, supporting commercialization

The Person

• A motivated, sharp candidate with at least a bachelor’s/master's degree in electrical engineering, product planning, product R&D related to EV inverter, charging products and power electronics
• A naturally skilled communicator, presenter, and operator in this field, keenly monitoring competition and horizons, managing projects and budgets adeptly, pursuing chances to innovate and/or exploit business opportunities
• Our talented appointee will exhibit familiarity with EV software architecture design and strategy development, as well as various circuit topology/control strategies, three-phase PFC, inverter control strategy and EMC test specifications
• Preferably, someone that has experience in High Voltage applications
• Ability to travel to safeguard team goals is a must for this key position

Must Haves:

• Solid background in power electronics
• Technically agile, depth of knowledge within HV power electronics, highly conversant with Inverter technology
• Taken products (power electronics) from conception thru to successful launch and production, familiar with RFQ to PPAP and beyond gateway process
