Job Description

The Company
A global, US brand transforming energy via cutting edge, cost-effective battery technology in partnership with leading regional and global organizations on gigawatt-scale production. Our client’s simple, smart design and fabrication methods support faster, safer, cleaner, more reliable processes with lucrative applications in EV technology, aerospace, grid markets and beyond.

The Role
We seek an established FMEA – (APiS) technical ace to operate in a key position, supporting the development of our client’s exciting, innovative new cell product. Our appointee exudes Design and Process FMEA mastery and will work with product and process teams to develop and combine these for holistic, robust risk assessment in APiS IQ. Varied workflow includes providing excellent mentoring and instilling best practice guidance to novice APiS users, IT, and our client’s valued partners, and contributing to outstanding team and brand performance.

You will:
• Tailor internal standards and blending of DFMEA & PFMEAs to aid elite risk assessments and reductions
• Coordinate FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) creation and data connections, ensuring two-way hazard visibility
• Report on and provide guidance for multiple, fascinating partner projects, IT, and novice APiS users
• Wear the badge of FMEA and APiS subject matter expert with pride

The Person
A technical authority figure with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemical Engineering, or equivalent and a passion for delivering class-leading methods and dependable execution.

2+ years of hands-on experience with APiS IQ for FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) creation and management is a must for any prospective candidate.

A skilled operator with around 3 years’ experience within the lithium-ion industry has an advantage in this recruitment campaign, however this is not essential for an outstanding, talented individual. If the above sounds familiar and you can work long hours, travel, and operate in low moisture dry/ clean room environments to support outstanding execution, do not dwell on this opportunity.
