They are doing this by revolutionizing the lithium-ion cell manufacturing process and platform. Their senior management team incorporates some of the battery industry’s foremost inventors, scientists, and entrepreneurs representing nearly 100 years of experience. With numerous global partnerships in place including the likes of VW, they now seek a Director of Operations to oversee, direct and support their key manufacturing partner in Norway.
The Director of Operations (NORWAY) is a key member of the high-performing management team engaged in the development of advanced lithium-ion battery products and the proprietary manufacturing system and processes to produce these products.
As such this challenge requires extensive involvement with all functions on-site that align product development with manufacturing processes and the Continuous Improvement of these facilities to deliver Pilot line and scale production KPIs.
For this role, we seek a highly adept Operations / CI leader with a strong industrial engineering background. You will work closely with the local Norway Engineering and Operations teams to develop and implement highly efficient production processes that meet the tolerances defined in product and process specifications. The Director will report to and work closely with a US-based Senior Director.
A Lean champion, you should have excellent communication skills to deal with internal customers, vendors, and both technical and non-technical staff.
Experience and Values to Include:

Broad experience which also includes automated assembly, automated material movement, and in-line inspection.
Experience in taking a process from lab scale to pilot scale to high volume manufacturing an absolute advantage!
