The Role
This senior opportunity provides influence and lucrative experience in leading system-vehicle integration for a bold, evolving brand in a highly competitive and exciting market. You will:
• Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software for EV traction inverters/charging systems
• Maximise effects of work with microcontrollers (MCUs) and field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs)
• Lead the integration of our client’s system into customer vehicles
• Perform design function for reusable in-house software platform with maximum usability
• Collaborate with highly skilled multidisciplinary teams, provide first class mentoring and best practices

The Person
This astute individual possesses years’ experience of designing embedded C software, years’ automotive engineering experience (design, implementation, testing, debugging) and years’ experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python).

An excellent communicator with a professional attitude to timekeeping, our appointee exhibits rock-solid knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic BSW/SWC integration, high voltage EV/hybrid systems, finite state machine development and debugging.

Any prospective candidate is at an advantage if they can demonstrate robust experience with configuring microcontroller peripherals, multi-core software development and debugging and modeling, code generation, and testing in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow.

Standout candidates possess knowledge/experience of IEC 61851, ISO 15118, and SAE J1772, MISRA C for automotive software, automotive communication protocols, Vector CANalyzer, CANoe for testing and CAPL scripting for field debugging.

International travel in pursuit of challenging but exciting business goals, is required.
